Delivery
As explained above, the core office moving service is the delivery fleet
For overland moves, Flash Globals provides everything from pickup vans to CDE or single-axle trucks with a 2-ton capacity and CDD or double-axle trucks with a 4-ton capacity
Why only up to a CDD or double-axle truck with a 4-ton capacity?
Because offices are usually located in the city centre, where public infrastructure has transport limitations: the road class (road strength) and the space for vehicle manoeuvring only allow trucks up to the size of a CDD truck
There are also time restrictions on when CDD trucks may pass through the city centre, so during the day a CDE truck is used
If your office move is to a different island, we use sea freight, where the truck is loaded onto a ship to carry your office items

Office moving delivery costs vary widely depending on the destination, the route taken and the fleet used.

Movers
When moving offices, some companies don't want their employees carrying items around
This is where Flash Globals provides movers to carry items from the pickup location or old office to the destination or new office
Generally, movers will load items at the pickup location and unload them at the destination, usually at the front of the building or the front-most room
The cost of movers also varies depending on the number of items and the weight of each item.
As a rough guide, movers start from Rp80,000 per person for loading items into a blind van
A heavy item lifting service is also available, as office moves may involve safes or other heavy furniture

Repositioning
As an extension of the movers service, you can add a repositioning service so you don't have to wear yourself out carrying items to where they belong
For example, carrying items up to the 2nd floor and positioning them in the right rooms
For example
15 desks and 10 chairs on the 1st floor, placed in their respective rooms
5 desks and 5 chairs to the 2nd floor, placed in their respective rooms
the cost depends on the number of floors, the number of items, the size of the rooms and the number of movers needed
As a rough guide, repositioning items from the 1st floor to the 2nd floor starts from Rp1,000,000 with a crew of 5
Difficult-Access Lifting Service
In some situations, office furniture cannot fit into certain rooms or floors
Flash Globals provides a heavy item lifting service for office moves, and sometimes heavy items need to be lifted to the 2nd floor or higher
During the first visit or survey, our team will assess the options for lifting heavy items, including lifting them to the 2nd floor or higher

Packing
Our packing crew provides a packing service so your office items are not damaged during delivery or the office move
There are several packing options to choose from
Small items are usually packed with bubble wrap and cardboard boxes: they are wrapped first and then grouped into boxes
Medium to large items are usually wrapped in plastic wrap, bubble wrap or even covered with cardboard
For high-value items, wooden crating is recommended so they won't knock against other items and are handled more carefully during delivery and the office move
You can choose which items need packing and which packing option to use
You can also schedule the packing, for example the day before the delivery or office move

Dismantling & Reassembly
Most office items are furniture, and some of it can usually be knocked down
or there may even be electronics such as air conditioners and water heaters that need to be moved
Flash Globals works with trucking and moving partners who are experienced in dismantling and reassembling furniture and electronics
Flash Globals partners will bring the tools commonly used for dismantling and reassembly, such as screwdrivers, pliers, Allen keys, adjustable wrenches and other tools
The cost of dismantling and reassembling or installing each piece of furniture varies depending on the size of the item and how complex it is to take apart and put back together
As a rough guide
- 2-door wardrobe Rp250,000.
- Large 3-door wardrobe, kitchen set Rp400,000.
- Bed frame Rp300,000.
